Chickpea

Chickpeas are an important grain legume and export crop for Australia. The Edwards group currently collaborates with the international consortium to determine the chickpea genome sequence. We are also determining the genomic basis for important agronomic traits funded by an AISRF grant challenge grant jointly with Australian and Indian partners.
